About the Role
As a Senior Technical Writer, you will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather information and understand technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining user manuals, system manuals, and other technical guides, ensuring adherence to industry standards and DoD regulations, and continuously updating documentation based on feedback.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment or within the defense industry.
- 2 years of experience interacting with technical stakeholders.
- Proficient with version control systems and front-end development.
- Submission of a portfolio.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with docs as code, markdown content formatting, Javascript, CSS, and Nunjucks templating.
- Track record of capable execution of multiple projects at once, self-direction, and meeting deadlines.
