About the Role
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for advising clients on various tax-related matters, preparing and filing tax returns, conducting tax research, and supervising junior team members. You will work closely with the finance team to integrate tax-related matters into financial reporting and maintain strong client relationships.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA qualification or CPA eligible
- 2+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting environment
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
- Experience with corporate tax and partnership taxes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred:
- Experience with salt tax, state tax, federal tax, and local tax laws
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
