Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) to join their team in Tewksbury, MA. The role involves developing and maintaining modeling tools for complex systems in support of the Land and Air Defense Systems mission area.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will communicate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate design plans and requirements analysis. You will manage program technical risks, develop modeling tools incorporating Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and model radar and effector system behaviors and performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in complex Digital Signal Processing and developing time domain signal models.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
- Experience with system requirements capture, design, and decomposition.
- Familiarity with radar system concepts and their performance.
- Ability to read technical design drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience using MATLAB for model development.
