Summary
Egnyte is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their team in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The role involves acting as a liaison between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) customers to facilitate the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will manage customer pilots, demonstrations, and POCs, while developing a deep understanding of the Egnyte platform and the AEC industry. Your responsibilities include preparing technical presentations, addressing customer needs, and maintaining knowledge of competitor products. You will also lead RFI, RFP, and Security Questionnaire responses and may need to travel to customer sites and conferences.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience working with or selling AEC industry-specific solutions.
- Strong understanding of the AEC industry and collaboration solutions.
- Ability to work with all levels of customer roles up to and including the CIO, CTO, and CISO.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to sell effectively in front of a mixed technical and non-technical audience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or similar course of study.
- Appreciation of and experience with the entire sales cycle including pre-sales, deployment, customer success, and retention.
