Cresilon is seeking a Senior Process Engineer/Process Engineer II - Manufacturing to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves supporting and leading manufacturing process development and optimization for medical device products.
About the Role
As a Senior Process Engineer or Process Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet quality, compliance, and performance standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes, improve yield, throughput, quality, and efficiency. This hands-on role includes training operators, troubleshooting equipment challenges, and executing qualifications and validations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Process Engineer II: 5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with 3+ years in process development, design, and implementation.
- Senior Process Engineer: 10+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in process development, design, and implementation.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- 3+ years of relevant cGMP manufacturing experience.
- Experience in cleanroom operations, including aseptic processing.
- Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing experience.
