About the Role
As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will model, design, implement, test, and benchmark power electronics for Tau motor drives. Your responsibilities include designing hardware for power converters, leading cross-disciplinary teams, and advancing Tau's intellectual property in power electronic systems.
About You
Required:
- 5 years relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and experience with high voltage power semiconductor selection.
Preferred:
- Masters or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or mechatronic engineering with a focus on power electronics.
- Awareness of UL and CE electrical safety requirements and EMC requirements relevant to the design of power converters.
