WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Pipeline / Pump Systems Engineer (Water / Wastewater) to join their Design Center in Tempe, AZ. The role involves providing engineering services for the planning, analysis, and design of water conveyance and wastewater collection systems.
About the Role
As a Senior Pipeline / Pump Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering studies, design reports, and construction documents related to water and wastewater infrastructure. Your tasks will include creating detailed designs, performing hydraulic modeling, preparing calculations, and coordinating with vendors. You will also mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality project delivery while maintaining effective communication with clients and project teams.
About You
Required:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.
- PE or PE eligibility required.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater projects.
- Demonstrated experience with planning, studies, analysis, and design of water conveyance and wastewater collection systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- MS degree in a relevant field.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Revit.
