Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Senior Medicare Coverage Analyst to join their team remotely. The role involves reviewing clinical research protocols and creating coverage analyses to determine billable medical procedures.
About the Role
As a Senior Medicare Coverage Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing clinical research protocols, Informed Consent Forms, and Clinical Trial Agreements to create coverage analyses. You will determine if studies qualify as Qualifying Clinical Trials under Medicare policy and mentor junior team members. Your tasks will include creating coverage analysis grids, serving as a subject matter expert on Medicare policies, and interfacing with sponsors and study teams to resolve discrepancies.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or RN Credential required.
5 years of Medicare coverage analysis experience required.
Experience with research activity in an academic medical center.
Experience working in clinical trials management system (CTMS).
Preferred:
CPT/DRG Coding experience preferred.
Understanding of research activity in an academic medical center.
