North Shore Community Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Access and Navigation to join their team in Salem, MA. The role focuses on ensuring seamless access to care for patients across three primary care locations and provides leadership to optimize operations and enhance patient experience.
About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Access and Navigation, you will lead and mentor Practice Managers, oversee the Patient Access Navigation team, and manage the Telehealth Navigation Program. Your responsibilities include developing strategies to improve patient access, tracking key performance indicators, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Management, or a Healthcare related field, or five years of experience in Healthcare/Public Health as a substitute for degree.
- A minimum of five years of experience in health care/public health or related field.
- Two years of experience managing teams, preferably including remote staff.
- Proven track record in successfully managing programs/projects and using analytics to support evidence-based management.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and overall organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic.
- Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma or equivalent project and change management frameworks.
- Demonstrated effective analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and lead in a matrixed organization.
