About the Role
As a Senior Law Clerk, you will assist attorneys by reviewing the work of paralegals and clerks, perform expert legal research and writing, review investigative reports, conduct high-level analysis of facts and legal authorities, and draft legal memoranda, motions, and briefs. You will also prepare correspondence requiring government signatures and coordinate with other support components to complete work requirements.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
- Expertise in legal research and writing on sophisticated legal issues.
- Experience in reviewing investigative reports and preparing summaries.
Preferred:
- Experience in drafting legal memoranda, motions, and briefs.
- Ability to conduct high-level analysis of facts and evidence in investigations.
