About the Role
As a Senior Embedded Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing advanced control algorithms, writing high-quality embedded code, and ensuring the safety and reliability of high-voltage systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the performance of electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, manage development backlogs, and guide the team through technical challenges.
About You
Required:
Demonstrated experience in architecting software and control systems design for motor control and power conversion applications.
Proficiency in embedded programming in C or C++, with a focus on timing requirements and peripheral synchronization.
Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting embedded hardware and complex systems.
In-depth knowledge of functional safety principles, including ASIL levels and ISO 26262 compliance.
Experience managing software development processes, including documentation and agile methodologies.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronic engineering focusing on control systems.
5+ years of experience in embedded programming in C or C++ for high-integrity systems.
3+ years of experience using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
Experience with digital bus standards and communication protocols.
Familiarity with Distributed Real-Time Systems (DRTS) and hardware/software interface design.
