Summary
POWER Engineers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Government Services Division in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves engineering design projects related to mission-critical infrastructure including power delivery, generation, and distribution.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading engineering design projects, creating construction drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with various standards. You will mentor junior engineers, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and interface with clients to drive projects to successful completion.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
- Professional Engineering License with the ability to be licensed in multiple states.
- Fifteen plus (15+) years of applicable experience in the design and specification of low and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
- Knowledge and direct application of UFC, UFGS, NEC, and ICC standards.
- Ability to self-perform all electrical engineering tasks associated with the project.
Preferred:
- Experience designing to NAVFAC and USACE design standards.
- Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience with mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Solid foundation in implementing CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation.
