Signature IT World Inc is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves providing EHS technical support and coordinating EHS activities and programs within the plant.
About the Role
As a Senior EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, executing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety systems for the plant. You will collaborate with the Corporate EHS team, Plant Management, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, focusing on various projects and initiatives. This position will also provide support to EHS specialists within the network and report directly to the Director of EHS.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in workplace environmental, health and safety program management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, policies, programs, PPE, environmental policies (EPA), safety engineering, accident/injury investigation procedures and operating rules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills (Google Suite).
- Excellent organization and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and business travel when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience with Process Safety Management concepts like Management of Change.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP).
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Certified Environmental Professional (CEP).
