About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist - Finance, you will leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and generate insights that inform product roadmaps and financial planning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to refine forecasting processes, improve accuracy, and help shape company strategy through data-driven recommendations. Your responsibilities will include building a forecasting platform, defining and analyzing metrics, educating teams on data usage, and collaborating with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to enhance data pipelines and tools.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience working with and analyzing large datasets.
- Strong forecasting experience including methodologies such as ARIMA and Prophet.
- Fluency in SQL and other statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, R).
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes with DBT.
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently with Finance.
- Proactive in asking questions and turning them into analyses.
- Super organized and communicative, able to manage multiple projects.
