About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with various functions including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product Developers to become the domain expert in multiple internal and external data sources. Your responsibilities will include developing data-driven tests, creating compelling visualizations, and mentoring other analytics team members to drive innovative solutions.

About You

Required:

4+ years of advanced SQL skills to extract data from data warehouses like Redshift, Hive, SparkSQL, and Athena.
Experience with modern analytical tools and programming languages such as Python.
Knowledge of data query and processing tools/systems including relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with distributed computing systems and technologies like Spark and Hive.
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

Master's Degree in a relevant field.
Experience in developing data models and schema design.
Working knowledge of cloud computing/services, particularly in AWS.
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau and QlikSense.
Understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
