As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will work under limited supervision with the Information Security Office (ISO) and extended CENIC teams on security solutions and implementations. You will perform varying security duties including threat awareness, proactive network traffic analysis, incident response, forensic analysis, and resolution of security incidents. You will collaborate with the CENIC Security Advisory Committee and other security experts to develop plans for a Security Operations Center. Your responsibilities include evaluating data to detect security incidents, maintaining ISO documentation, leading new ISO projects, and designing secure email gateway and identity management services. You will also perform threat hunting, monitor security alerts, and lead incident response efforts.

About You

Required:

BA/BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Certifications and/or equivalent training in a technical security specialty (e.g., GIAC, CISSP).
A minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or network security engineering.
Experience implementing industry security standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST SP800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Critical Security Controls.
