Summary
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team in Warrenville, IL. The role involves applying technical skills to monitor, analyze, and report project cost performance for capital infrastructure projects.
About the Role
As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will interface with project management and clients to develop budget and cost metrics. Your responsibilities will include implementing project controls, supporting month-end closing processes, establishing project budgets, developing forecasts, monitoring actual costs, and analyzing data to support project decision-making. You may also travel to client offices for coordination meetings.
About You
Required:
- 5 or more years of project experience.
- Post-secondary graduate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge in MS Office tools, especially advanced MS Excel and/or PowerBI.
- Working knowledge in SAP.
Preferred:
- Related internship or work experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling.
- AACE CCT or PMI Equivalent.
- Working towards AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI Equivalent.
