Summary
EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Consultant – Grants Management to join their Government Services practice in Houston, TX. The role focuses on supporting clients with monitoring state and federal grants, including project eligibility, reporting, and recipient and subrecipient monitoring.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant – Grants Management, you will evaluate client needs, recommend project approaches, assist in funding requests, provide grants monitoring and oversight, review grantee budgets, support clients in navigating award terms, and guide them through the grants lifecycle. You will also interpret federal and state grant regulations and prepare client deliverables while building trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of successful grants management experience.
- Prior consulting or advisory experience.
Preferred:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in business and technical settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience working with state and local governments, tribal governments, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit entities.
- Grant writing and application development experience.
- Knowledge of federal compliance requirements and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).
- Grants-related certifications (CGMS, GPC, PMP, CPA, etc.).
