Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Civil Designer 2 - Government Services to join their team in Richland, WA. The role involves developing 3D models of civil grading and structures to produce civil drawing deliverables within CAD software.
About the Role
As a Senior Civil Designer 2, you will work with multi-disciplined engineering and design project teams to create civil layout drawings in a 3-D model. Your responsibilities will include all phases of civil site plans, grading design, and solving various civil design issues. You will interpret and coordinate topographical data, participate in detailed design phases, and provide support to other designers and project team members.
About You
Required:
- Associates Degree from an accredited institution in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of professional experience converting the designs of engineers into technical drawings or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency with design software tools in executing 2D drawings.
- Experience in the review of civil layout drawings for all phases of grading, regrading, and final grading.
- Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the Civil site design process.
Preferred:
- CAD certificate.
- CAD Software skills in Autodesk Civil, Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk Navisworks, ArcGIS/Globalmapper.
