About the Role
As a Senior Care Companion, you will work directly with older adults to facilitate their engagement in social activities and interests. Responsibilities include accompanying clients to appointments, participating in hobbies, assisting with shopping and errands, facilitating video calls, organizing home spaces, and planning events. You will also ensure that services align with Corewood Care's mission and values while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
About You
Required:
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- Professional or personal experience in working with older adults.
- Understanding of the needs of older adults and the aging process.
- Desire to assist older adults in maintaining independence and self-worth.
- Understanding of dementia/Alzheimer's.
- Fluent in English.
- Clear and current background check and driving record.
- Comfortable with administrative duties and basic computer skills.
- Current and valid driver's license, own vehicle, and proof of current car insurance.
