Worley is seeking a Senior Associate Technical Consultant, Ports & Marine Terminals to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves leading the design of marine structures and providing technical mentorship in marine structural engineering.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate Technical Consultant, you will lead teams in designing marine structures such as docks, marinas, and ferry terminals. You will assist in recruiting and coaching team members, supervise technical analysis and design, conduct peer reviews, and engage with clients and contractors. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring construction progress, preparing proposals, and fostering a safety-oriented culture.
About You
Required:
- Degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Over 10 years of experience in marine structural engineering or a related discipline.
- Registered or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia as a professional engineer.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relations.
- Experience leading a team, including recruitment and performance management.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience in marine inspections.
- Experience in project coordination and business development.
