PIMCO is seeking a Senior Associate, Regulatory – Legal US to join their team in Newport Beach, CA. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support for U.S. Regulatory matters within the Legal and Compliance Department.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and filing U.S. regulatory submissions, assisting legal counsel with regulatory and internal reviews, supporting regulatory change management initiatives, coordinating responses to client and investor due diligence requests, and conducting regulatory and compliance research. You will also collaborate with the Legal managed service team and lead strategic initiatives between Legal, Client Management, and Operations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Laws (LLM) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a law firm or in-house paralegal, or in regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills (e.g., formulas, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of financial products and securities law.
- Experience in project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
