BNY is seeking a Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join their Assets Servicing, Sub accounting team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing application support for complex applications and managing production incidents.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst, you will provide application support for moderately and highly complex applications, manage incident and problem management services, lead troubleshooting during production outages, perform complex troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure production readiness for new releases. You will also monitor application changes and ensure appropriate alerting setups.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment.
- Experience working exclusively on UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Strong SQL skills with database knowledge (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience in scripting or programming languages like Python, Perl, Shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence.
Preferred:
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
- Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, Splunk.
- Experience automating deployments and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience in vulnerabilities management.
