Summary
NYC Department of Social Services is seeking a Senior Application Developer/Project Specialist to join their team in Manhattan, NY. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented web and windows-based systems using .Net, MVC, Angular, and low code application platforms.
About the Role
As a Senior Application Developer/Project Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the software architecture of multitier web applications, managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, developing APIs for integration with agency applications, and ensuring software security compliance. You will also prepare project plans and technical reports for users.
About You
Required:
- A baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and four years of relevant experience, or an associate degree and six years of relevant experience, or a baccalaureate degree and eight years of relevant experience.
- Specialization in relevant technology, process, methodology, and/or domain.
Preferred:
- Extensive experience in web and windows-based software development using Agile methodology.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS. NET technologies and related software development tools.
- Experience in leading application development groups engaged in .Net technologies.
