Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves performing various accounting functions and supporting the accounting team in a reputable Real Estate Investment & Development firm.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for job costing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations under manager supervision. You will handle monthly entries in accounting software, assist with monthly draws for assigned portfolios, reconcile bank accounts, analyze general ledger accounts, process reimbursements, prepare financial statements, and support ad hoc projects as needed.
About You
Required:
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within residential or commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting.
Preferred:
- Experience with job costing and bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
