Summary
PharmaEssentia is seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist, Immunology and Pharmacology to join their team in Greater Boston, MA. The role focuses on delivering in vitro, in vivo, and ex-vivo pharmacology support for drug discovery.
About the Role
As a Senior/Principal Scientist, you will work with data scientists and CROs to identify new targets, design and conduct POC studies, assist project leaders in setting goals, and support cross-functional teams. You will stay updated on scientific expertise in immune-oncology and pharmacology and prepare scientific presentations.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in oncology, immunology, immuno-oncology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
- 9+ years of relevant post-PhD experience in industry.
- Demonstrated scientific capability with high-quality independent research and peer-reviewed publications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of immunology, autoimmunity, and cancer biology.
- Extensive hands-on experience in leading drug discovery projects.
- Strong track record of success in achieving discovery/development milestones.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in designing and conducting POC studies.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
