Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Security Dispatcher - Weekends to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves receiving, evaluating, prioritizing, and relaying non-emergency and emergency calls to appropriate response units.
About the Role
As a Security Dispatcher, you will operate various communications equipment, monitor security cameras, and provide quality customer service while ensuring a safe and secure environment. You will also participate in training and maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
High School diploma.
Two years of customer service experience in an environment with frequent interruptions.
Demonstrated proficiency with basic computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Ability to provide quality customer service with a professional and helpful telephone manner.
Must submit to and pass a criminal background check.
Preferred:
Experience in emergency call center operations.
Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid, Certified 911 Telecommunicator, AVADE/HDTS De-Escalation Training, FEMA ICS 100, and Sentry-RMS Law Enforcement Training.
