About the Role

As a Scientist / Nuclear Weapons SME, you will advise senior DOE management on technical issues related to nuclear weapons, lead working groups, and develop classification guidance and policy documents. Your expertise will be crucial in areas such as nuclear weapon design, materials science, and stockpile management.

About You

Required:

United States citizenship with a current DoD Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance.
Advanced degree in nuclear engineering or a physical science.
Minimum of ten years of field experience in nuclear weapons.

Preferred:

Hands-on experience with nuclear weapon design and related computer codes.
Expertise in Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF).
Experience teaching and developing educational materials for nuclear weapons topics.
