BioSpace is seeking a Scientist 1 in Bioconjugation Chemistry to join their team in San Rafael, CA. The role focuses on the synthesis and optimization of bioconjugates to support the development of novel therapeutics.
About the Role
As a Scientist 1 in Bioconjugation Chemistry, you will be responsible for synthesizing and optimizing various bioconjugates, developing new linker chemistries, and collaborating with internal and external partners for material transfer. You will also perform data analysis, prepare SOPs, and serve as a technical lead in bioconjugation projects.
About You
Required:
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
0-2 years of industry/post-doc experience relating to drug development.
Preferred:
Strong foundation in macromolecular chemistry, bioconjugation, analytical chemistry and/or chemical biology.
A record of accomplishments/publications in relevant scientific discipline and some hands-on experience in oligonucleotide delivery.
