Potential Inc. is seeking a School Paraprofessional (Part-Time) to join their team at Springtime School in Newtown, PA. The role involves supporting Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts in providing individualized education to students with Autism.
About the Role
As a School Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students aged 6-21, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to assist in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Your responsibilities will include preparing classroom materials, managing student behavior, and ensuring a supportive learning environment. You will also participate in ongoing professional development and training.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation to the school in Newtown, Bucks County.
- Availability on Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
- Ability to implement safe crisis management techniques and perform physical tasks such as lifting 15-50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children with Autism or in a special education setting.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
