Formations is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team in Kirkland, WA. The role focuses on connecting with leads, qualifying them, and ensuring the right prospects are routed into the sales process.
About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will engage with leads through calls and emails, hold discovery conversations to understand their needs, and qualify prospects against Formations' ideal customer profile. You will also route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive, maintain lead status in HubSpot, and collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
About You
Required:
- 1+ year of experience in sales development, business development, or lead qualification (B2B or B2C).
- Strong communication skills on the phone and over email.
- Curious and coachable, open to feedback and quick to learn.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus).
- Excited about helping self-employed professionals succeed.
Preferred:
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or selling to self-employed professionals.
- Enjoy working in a startup environment where things move quickly.
