Summary
ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Roaming Transmission Work Planner to support hazard tree assessments and vegetation management planning projects throughout the United States.
About the Role
As a Roaming Transmission Work Planner, you will inspect power line rights-of-way, assess vegetation conditions, and determine required maintenance activities. Your responsibilities include maintenance planning, performing tree health assessments, notifying property owners, documenting information using GIS software, and ensuring public safety while communicating with utility clients and the general public.
About You
Required:
- Solid tree identification skills and the ability to read maps.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred:
- Current ISA arborist certification.
- Current ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) certification.
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Forestry, Environmental Science or related field.
- Previous experience in Forester/Arboriculture/Tree Care.
