About the Role
As an RN Perioperative Circulator, you will be responsible for the direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care in the operating room. Your duties will include ongoing evaluation and documentation of care delivered to patients, individualizing patient care based on health status and procedures, and utilizing clinical knowledge and judgment to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual responses of patients.
About You
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
- CNOR certification.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing excellent specialized care.
- Some computer skills.
