About the Role
As an RN in Maternal Services, you will be responsible for preparing mothers for labor and delivery, monitoring high-risk patients, administering medications and emergency measures, offering emotional support during childbirth, and assisting mothers in the postpartum period. You will also counsel and educate families on new baby care and participate in in-service training and orientation.
About You
Required:
- Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- One to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
Preferred:
- RN License to practice as a professional Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Active Multi-State RN Compact License.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required within specified timeframes.
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring and Assessment is preferred.
