Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for their Labor and Delivery Unit in Lovington, NM. The role involves providing patient-centered care during childbirth and supporting mothers and newborns.
About the Role
As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, assist during labor and delivery, and provide education to patients and families. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective care and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
About You
Required:
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
Preferred:
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
