The Muse is seeking a RN, First Assistant to join their team at the Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves delivering skilled nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in and outside of the operating room.
About the Role
As a Surgery Registered Nurse First Assistant, you will provide individualized nursing care, collaborate with the surgical team, and ensure high standards of patient care. You will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures and serving as a liaison between the surgeon and other medical staff, emphasizing customer relations and sound clinical judgment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of two years operating room experience.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- Completion of a RNFA program that meets the AORN Recommended Education Standards for RN First Assistant Programs.
- Current BLS certification recognized by AHA required prior to employment.
- CNOR Certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in pediatric nursing.
- Advanced certifications in surgical nursing.
