About the Role
As a RN First Assist, you will perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care management. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the surgical team, assisting in patient positioning, controlling blood loss, and ensuring a safe environment for patients. You will also provide instruction to patients, supervise ancillary staff, and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of assisting experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 3 years of circulating experience.
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA).
