Grandview Medical Center - Birmingham, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - ER for a full-time Mids position.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room, you will provide patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality care, conduct patient assessments, administer medications, assist physicians during procedures, and respond to medical emergencies. Your role will also involve patient and family education, adherence to infection control protocols, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
Preferred:
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
