About the Role
As an RN in the Digestive Disease Center, you will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide professional nursing care, conduct assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records. You will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with call requirements of 3-4 shifts per month, and will be responsible for ensuring safe and appropriate care to patients while adhering to regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certified in Basic Life Support.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Previous IMU or ICU experience.
- Additional certifications based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
