Summary
Midwest Cardiovascular Institute is seeking an RN - Clinic to join their team in Elmhurst, IL. The role involves providing patient care in support of cardiovascular physicians and performing various Registered Nurse duties.
About the Role
As an RN - Clinic, you will be responsible for triaging patients, documenting vital signs, assisting with exams and patient education, maintaining electronic records, performing blood work, and supporting Coumadin clinics and pacemaker duties. You will also assist with insurance pre-certifications and help staff other clinics as needed.
About You
Required:
- Current IL RN license
- BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge
Preferred:
- 1-2 years cardiology experience or willingness to learn
- Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months
