About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care for patients with respiratory issues. You will work under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, and may take on lead responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.
About You
Required:
- Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or obtained within three months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or ARC upon hire and maintain current.
- Associate of Science Degree.
Preferred:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate.
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Two years of acute care experience.
