Summary
Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Midland, TX. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients in the field of cardiopulmonary care.
About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary care, managing supplies and equipment, and promoting teamwork with physicians and other departments. You will also be expected to maintain current knowledge of respiratory medications, provide accurate documentation, and demonstrate clinical knowledge and judgment regarding patient care.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of CRT certification (must obtain RRT within one year of hire).
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and judgment regarding patient’s cardiopulmonary care.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Departmental/Hospital computer systems.
- Ability to demonstrate age-specific competence in caring for patients from various age groups.
