About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering prescribed therapies, monitoring life support systems, and providing in-service training to residents and staff. You will work closely with physicians to develop and implement respiratory care plans, ensuring that care meets the unique needs of adult and geriatric residents. Your duties will also include maintaining and troubleshooting respiratory equipment, participating in emergency procedures, and documenting all care provided.
About You
Required:
- Completion of a NBRC approved and accredited respiratory therapy program.
- One year of clinical practice experience under medical direction.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Current State Licensure for a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
