About the Role
As a Resistance Spot Welding Specialist, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) equipment meets corporate standards and project timelines. Key responsibilities include ensuring suppliers deliver RSW equipment, participating in throughput analyses, managing documentation, providing onsite support during execution phases, and optimizing systems for productivity and quality.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma (minimum).
- 5+ years of experience in Resistance Spot Welding.
- Strong understanding of RSW technologies and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Experience with adhesive and sealer procedures.
- Tooling and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in high-pressure environments.
Preferred:
- 2+ years in the Automotive industry, supporting launch in body shops or plants.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive body shop processes.
- Ability to lead structured validation projects without existing standardized work.
