Summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Resident Network Engineer to join their team in Seattle/Redmond, WA. The role involves providing post-sales, on-site, and potentially on-call support for HPE Juniper Networks products.
About the Role
As a Resident Network Engineer, you will be responsible for operational support of HPE Juniper Networks routing/security products, troubleshooting network issues, training customer personnel, and developing best practices. You will also facilitate operations calls, evaluate network configurations, and assist in network design and testing.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Typically, 6+ years’ experience in design, implementation, and operational experience in large-scale IP networks.
- JUNOS CLI experience.
- Large-scale experience with Juniper hardware (MX, EX, QFX and PTX products).
- Experience with core routing BGP, OSPF, ISIS protocols.
Preferred:
- Prior work experience at a large enterprise or a Data Center with EVPN/VXLAN experience.
- Experience with supporting LNS (L2TP Network Server), DHCP, radius subscriber services.
- Technical Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, and CCIE.
