About the Role
As a Research Specialist at the Center for Discovery and Innovation, you will perform general laboratory functions, assist in designing and conducting experiments, maintain accurate records, and communicate experimental results. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lab and recommend changes to lab practices and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 1 or more years of experience.
- Ability to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Preferred:
- B.Sc. or Master's degree.
- Experience working in a BSL2/BSL3 lab facility.
- Experience with small animal handling.
