About the Role
As a Research Assistant/Associate Professor, you will develop a multidisciplinary, independent research program related to food security, collaborate with faculty and stakeholders on food system issues, generate and disseminate research-based information, and may teach undergraduate courses. You will also assist undergraduate students and participate in recruitment and retention activities.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in food science, food and nutrition, nutrition or closely related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with food distribution.
- Experience with the social aspects of food and nutrition.
- Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Potential to acquire extramural funding to support extension programs.
