About the Role

As a Remote Medical Director, you will assist the Chief Medical Director in providing medical leadership for utilization management, cost containment, and quality improvement activities. Your responsibilities will include performing medical reviews, supporting performance improvement initiatives, collaborating with clinical teams, and participating in provider network development. You will also conduct rounds for high-risk patients and interface with providers to enhance healthcare quality.

About You

Required:

MD or DO without restrictions
Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Utilization Management experience and knowledge of quality accreditation standards
Actively practices medicine

Preferred:

Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse population
Course work in Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance, and/or Personnel Management
