About the Role
As a Rehab Assistant, you will assist with patient care, perform clerical functions, and ensure a clean and organized environment for the delivery of care. You will work closely with healthcare providers and interact with patients and their families, contributing to the overall well-being of children in a pediatric healthcare setting.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations at a level preferably acquired through completion of a high school education or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously.
- Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner.
