About the Role
As a Refugee Food Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing meals, snacks, and desserts, while ensuring compliance with agency, state, and federal nutritional standards. You will maintain a clean and safe kitchen, manage food service quality, and keep accurate records for meal production and sanitation. Additionally, you will order supplies, communicate with community resources, and provide catering services while prioritizing the needs of residents.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience in food services.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain both the ServSafe Certification and the ServSafe Allergens Certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be reliable with time-sensitive deadlines and tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and a team player.
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Experience working with refugee populations.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergies.
